I still feel mildly guilty for disliking OoT!Zelda and liking Sheik. But I do like pretty much every other female character (hell, every other character) in the goddamn games. Today was... arse, in a word. I'm so sick of just not knowing things, but there's not time to rectify my lack of knowledge in any structured way, so I'm left running around begging answers of people when all I want to do is sit down and work my way through a syllabus. |D; Bah, humbug. Today I made a startling discovery: I use certain kinds of tea to write certain characters. The problem is that Sticks has not yet been assigned a tea; Ashley is Irish Breakfast for the time being, but if I discover some kind of Welsh tea that I particularly enjoy this could change. Thank all the little gods for Project class. We may fuck around a lot, but we make important discoveries about our writing process in the meantime!

Staff meeting was fun. There was beer! There was Azra! (alleyne I am in love with your bosslady and I have spoken to her fewer than five times. I feel that you should know so you can save me from embarrassing myself in front of her. She is just That Awesome. And understands POS's little idiosyncrasies, and apologises for saying 'bullshit'.) Everyone is very fun and awesome, at least to your face, and we are doing stocktake all weekend, and also possibly on Tuesday for a little while, which I will see what I can do about.

Went to Emporium for food and was essentially puppy-eyed and told at great length about how short-staffed they were. See what happens when you fuck over your most loyal and tolerant staff member, guys? Yeah. ♥ Have fun with that.

In other news, my internet has been a bitch ALL DAY. I am now going to go and attempt to write Sticks, or scour the internet for a tea involving pomegranate. (Which I promise to share with Atychos, should I locate it.)

Today I drew the first even vaguely masculine Sheik I have ever drawn in my goddamn life, and my mother wrote I am very dopey!!! in a speech bubble next to him while I was at work. :( I don't think he looks dopey. Just... vaguely irritated and vaguely bored.

Work was pretty nondescript except that narnizzle came in to talk to me for a while and I spent about two hours putting up new tickets all over fruit and veg. Also, Patrick is an excellent conversationalist, but really, really bad at facing up.

I was actually feeling so crappy when I left to go to work that I took my Hiru plushie with me. Obviously he didn't leave my bag, but it still made me feel better to have him there with me.

In any case, my neighbours are up to their usual tricks, and I doubt I'm going to get any fucking sleep unless I fall asleep with my headphones in, in which case I will spend the night drooling onto the keyboard and in danger of being electrocuted, which would be kind of hilarious, actually. Primarily because, with luck, it would blow the electricity for the entire building, so after the sirens died down the rest of my suburb might be able to get some fucking shut-eye.
