Today:
- I met the new guy; he seems reliable. :D
- I finished my boss's commission.
- Lucien broke the Golem.
- Book!Verse merged with Third Gift.
- I developed a severe headache and decided to go to bed.

So today I found out that my supervisor is going to work on something else. And I am going to be in charge of the people who start in one and two weeks respectively. ;A; C-can I cry now? So, um, kind of... worried about that. But I'm sure it will all be fine. Or at least, I will continue to tell myself this until I make it so. Ahaha. D:

In other news, my boss was serious about the commission, so I'll start work on that tonight. I'm doing a t-shirt design for a band he's friends with. Their music is actually really nice, so this is quite awesome, and the photos I was given of the band are so FULL OF ENERGY that it's destined to be a really fun design. :D I may be distracted into drawing Ciorrnaich approximately five million times, but that's what happens when you put him in the same headspace as awesome music.

On the subject of which: I love apparently random dances more than anyone reasonably should.

Oh, and I got a free t-shirt today. It is immense and tent-like and this is okay. :D Free pajamas!

QUESTION:

How many of you would be interested in paying five or ten bucks for a reasonably clean sketch of whatever you want?

I'm not even sure if enough people follow me here or on devART to make this more than a charity effort, and I certainly don't need the cash, guys, so don't panic, but. Just curious.

They would likely be slightly cleaner than this level (much cleaner, actually, because I am really sloppy when I draw for myself) because I suck and colour makes me want to hurt myself, but I am willing to attempt cleaner art if you want me to. :| Uh. yeah. so.

Comment if you could hypothetically be prodded into it?

I knew I'd forgotten something yesterday. :\ I promised Robyn I'd call her re. the website hosting, so, um. T_T; That was fail on my part. On the bright side, I can probably have it all done and uploaded tonight. But I think she has a family so I may not call until 7.30 or something. I'm not sure what time she has dinner. :|

Sadly, I spent my entire lunch break in the staff room listening to Candi swear like a goddamn trooper over her younger sister and how she is allowed to do whatever she wants to do while she is pregnant. Other than that period of "...." it was really quite a good - if fairly slow - day. Once again, Katy and I are Ultimate Tetris Team !!!! So tomorrow we're going to deal with the ridiculous amount of Kenwood, Kambrook, Breville and hopefully Morphy Richards stock that we've had sidelined for a few days.

Also, I got home to a gorgeous rendition of Ban by E.K. The fact that Ban is grumping over a pose that is not sensible and contained is entirely irrelevant because I like it. <3 <3 <3

Going to try to get the rest of my list done, now! And then settle in for dinner, and writing. Today was a nice Wednesday. I liked it rather a lot.

As the day wore on yesterday, my bones turned to lead. Thus it was that I went to bed at eight-thirty, which was pretty much as soon as dishes had been done, mostly because mum noticed me stoning at the tabletop and was just like, "Er, perhaps you should sleep. At some point. Relatively soon." Hell yes, sez me; goodbye, aunt and uncle.

And then I slept.

Until 8.30am.

Whereupon I only woke up because my mother locked herself out of the house and had to buzz the apartment. >_>; Eh heh.

Still feeling kind of gummy this morning, and my arms are weird and half-numb, but not completely leaden like yesterday. Trying to work out what I can commission from EK and have basically made the following list:
1) Ban.
2) Sanga.
3) EODRANAICH AND LOGANAICH.

I got kind of stupidly excited when I realised I could get her to draw my boys with her superior anatomy abilities. XD I can always keep... commissioning... when I think of more, since she is very amenable to eating. ♥

In addition, the submission deadline for the Jan 1 SSBB came out today - December 22, apparently. I do want to write for it, but... well, there are a lot of things on at this time of year. XD Including NaNo which I have not yet begun. So... so, we'll see.

I need to spend the day organising clothes, since I won't really get the chance for the rest of the week, and beginning to sort out this wretched website again. Prizes for anyone who can tear me away from this webcomic long enough to do any of it. XD; I need a bigger favourites bar if I'm gonna keep reading these things.

Despite knowing that quote is not accurate, I must use it to describe how it feels to have exfoliated one's face for the first time in, oh god, FOR EVER. XD I feel like a human being again! I did not even realise that I had stopped feeling like a human being!

This internet filtering bullshit is ridiculous. I thought I should let you all know that when/if it comes in, I will probably start blogging in Al Bhed. Or writing in Al Bhed. XD At that point you will be able to use this form to translate. XD) I've downloaded the report on the govt.'s closed-environment testing of ISP-level filtering, so I'll be reading that and, um, actually seriously considering a campaign of some kind, but that will take further thought than I have given it at this point in time.

Maybe I do have a stinging insect phobia. XD; It was really bad.

And it just occurred to me that we are going to Chermside to shop so I can look at another Borders for books that I care about! Score!

For the record, when I made that last post, I was completely sober. XD Just... totally unable to think straight due to 39 hours without sleep, and about three weeks of failing to sleep properly on any regular basis.

(Also, this is just how hanging out with people makes me speak. XD In very long rambling sentences. Uni has destroyed my ability to be concise - take heed.)

I would like to reiterate when awake that Sam is the most adorable drunk in the entire world and I never thought I would see a tutor be that... cuddly. XDDD I mean, Alasdair is cuddly, but he's cuddly-looking normally. Sam does not usually look like a particularly cuddly bloke. XD HE WAS SO PAINFULLY ADORABLE. I hope he doesn't get into serious trouble with people buying him drinks because of that. He's like. He's like ZACK. It was hysterical.

Anyway, today I am apparently going shopping for clothing to wear to the engagement party, since my grandmother called last night all I HAVE THE SHIRT (being a shirt she ordered from some fucking store like months ago that they had to send up from somewhere else and it has beads on it and colour me afraid now oh god) and we all know that I do not in all probability want to wear this shirt anywhere ever in the history of the world.

...wow, that was a legitimately long sentence.

Anyway. Having started the day with a nightmare about a swarm of wasps, I am off to shower and make ready for a shopping trip. Thankyou and most likely goodnight.

[EDIT] Except for a brief run back to the computer to say OH MY GOD, BLEACH 334. *flails wildly* OH MY GOD. And I thought I didn't particularly care about that person. OH MY GOD. Although it remains to be seen how exactly allegiance will shake down... holy shit.

(Also, I feel really shallow for liking so many Arrancar purely because of their designs. XD But I really like Sun-sun!)

[EDIT] And... I know I can't really afford it but I want to give EK a few commissions to work on so's she won't starve or go crazy. I am curious as to what she'd make of Ban, because... well, I have a feeling. (Apparently no one is allowed to draw Hiru but me, Tina, Wyrren, and Meat Bamboo, idk. XD Sanga is free to whore.) They're only sketches, but that's the way I like them. XD So, um. *tries to think who else she could afford to get drawn*
