In lieu of being productive, I spent my afternoon rediscovering old CDs. :3 I can still quote the entire bridge of "I'm an Asshole" by Denis Leary, word-perfect. It's 'cause I'm awesome. I seem to have misplaced a few dozen CDs along the line, though, which is a little sad - although I can't actually remember what I'm missing, now, except for the first Simple Plan album and a CD with "Sink to the Bottom with You" by Fountains of Wayne on it. (Naturally I will have that in my head all night because I can't listen to it.)

This is still my favourite Metallica song, for all that I love "Unforgiven" and all the classics. I fucking love this song. And of course I have now applied it to Felix/Mildmay, because it does apply to Felix/Mildmay, and this makes it even more awesome.

We were talking last night about whether good music or nostalgic music was better, and I have to say, unless I'm in a particularly musical mood? Nostalgic music craps all over actual good music. XD There is nothing quite like belting out "I'm an Asshole" and then sliding straight into "Freak On A Leash." XD XD XD I am going to be in the weirdest mood at work tonight. But also probably crazily productive on music nostalgia!high alone. ♥ Woo!
