I woke up at seven o' clock to Aziraphale singing 'A Spoonful of Sugar' in the back of my head. Struggled vainly against his cheer, but eventually was forced to get up and... well, make breakfast, since I can't start cleaning or even open the windows while everyone else is in bed. Nor can I blast music, more's the pity.

I feel compelled to drown him out with The Band Played Waltzing Matilda (also Baez- and Drew-flavoured, and I can never find the version they used to play us at primary school) but that would wake people up. Instead I will gamble at him. Two-up, anyone? Rosencrantz is not allowed to play.

I will certainly not cry at this song with my headphones in, like I do exactly twice every year. Why would you even think such a thi-- --and thanked Christ there was nobody waiting for meeee-- *chokesobsniffle*
