[EDIT] OKAY, SO I HAVE ADVENT CHILDREN COMPLETE, NOW. Flows much better than the original, except for the division between Tifa and Marlene getting to the church and the fight, so thank all gods for that. Also, my Girl With Pigtails gets a bigger part. As do the Turks and Yazoo. 8D And Zack! Who is still a puppy!

They could have included Zack without including Crisis Core, is all I'm sayin'.

Oh, look, you can actually see Vincent in amidst the swirling cloak now. That should allay all the crap about his being insubstantial.

....lmao, they finally realised that his cloak was too tattered - now it's only the back that looks motheaten.

Of course, this makes him look like Little Red Riding Hood, but this is not the point.

Oh god, Denzel has an origin story like Jason Todd (the second Robin I was mentioning a while ago.) No wonder I don't like either of them!

Opinion time: is it worth sitting through a movie I really didn't like again, if only for a few more scenes that make it all make a little more sense? Is there really that much Denzel? Does Tifa get much more screen time?

There're a few more Tifa scenes so far, and a LOT MORE COLOUR, I keep marvelling at the lack of monochrome Edge. XD I'm enjoying it more than I did the first version, buuuut......... well, yeah, I say it's worth seeing, if no---

Oh my god, Marlene just imitated her father at Cloud. YES, IT IS WORTH SEEING. asdkxjhksd.

I watched AC Complete yesterday, too. I watched a subbed version, though (torrent HERE).

I loved the original, because it was pretty and the choreography of the battles was awesomesauce! But this version is so much better! They've ironed out the story so the gapping plotholes and confusion is less obvious and they've tweaked the animation to put more detail in (I was fangirling over the blood in Cloud's hair at the end...)

But SO MUCH LOVE ON THE EXTRA DENZEL SCENES! The hand holding WAS particularly adorable! But so was his beating shit out a fire hydrant to escape from monsters!

AND MOOGLE GIRL! I loved her English voice, so I hope this gets dubbed and we get to hear more of her English VA.

Of course, now I'm in a FFVII mood...so I'm glad I have tomorrow off work!

Also, word to parents who aren't home when they are supposed to be! If I'm late home, they're on the phone in minutes! But they never think to tell me if THEY'RE late home.

(Especially since the last few times I haven't known where they were they also had no phone signal due to BEING IN THE HOSPITAL...fortunatly visiting others and not there for themselves)

Hmm, I wonder if the straight subs are available somewhere... I'll have to hunt.

I don't much like Denzel, and I doubt I ever will, but the extra scenes made him make slightly more sense without my having to wade through Case of Denzel, Barret, and Tifa.

I loved Moogle Girl/Girl With Pigtails from her first trailer. |D; I DO NOT KNOW WHY.

But, yeah, I've still got like the better part of an hour to go on this thing, since I took a break for X-Men. XD I'll get back to you once I've seen the epikku battoru!
