I couldn't NOT read this review of the ARC of Corambis. But it does have minor spoilers. And I think I am going to cry with happiness whenever this story arc completes itself, and there are only twenty-three days to go and I should finish everything just in time, judging by my current reading speed.

....or I could just cry at the thought of it all being resolved! Either way! Oh, I am a sap.

Secondly, if you're going to comment anonymously anyway, try to sound a little less like you're accusing me of volunteering to be assaulted because I see a film I enjoyed more than once just because the writer used a dangerous metaphor and smacked his audience and himself across the ear with it.

Not to sound snappish, but, well, it makes me snappish to have to defend myself against an unknown quantity.

Having said that, saw Watchmen for the third time this morning, still enjoyed it, and still suspect the vast majority of readers of that open letter from David Hayter are missing the point he was trying (although without much success unless you already 'got it') to articulate. I didn't like the letter, either, guys, but I know what he meant, and kind of agree that the movie industry did need this sort of smack in the face.

You don't have to like the film. All you have to do is learn from it. And if you can't, well, the experience - good or bad - really wasn't worth it for you, and I'm sorry about your $5-$18 ticket, but that is the risk we take when we agree to hear a story.
