failboat is fail.
So the night that I get a little more sleep than usual, where I'm actually sleeping when my alarm goes off, is of course the day mum SMSs me to say, "Take your time, we'll leave an hour later."

*mourns her lost sleep and moves on with the morning*

Weight: 76 kg
Exercise: About to do half hour on bike.
Bad Food: -
Mood: 2
Sleep: About five hours, with complicated dream about anal-retentive fangirlism. Woke up once or twice, slept well probably from about three onward. (Surprise, surprise.) Took a long time to GET to sleep, though, because I wanted to be doing things.
Possible Causes: Was warm enough, unlike last night where I was freezing. Relaxation (singing) followed by buggerall and the internet? No book work or reading.

my family laughs in the face of context
ME: Hello?
OOPI: Laura~! What do you call it, in a limestone cave, going down?
ME: ...buh?
OOPI: You know, the things in limestone caves! ...have you been in a limestone cave?
ME: Yes. What, like the spikes?
OOPI: Yes!
ME: Oh. Stalactites going down, stalagmites going up. o.0

So, surgery it is, apparently. Ultrasounding right wrist on Thursday to check for tenosynowhatever and/or ganglion there, and then to a hand specialist for cutting since apparently draining isn't an option. I am devastated to find that it is, in fact, too deep within my wrist to beat it with Swinburne until it submits. DEVASTATED. Only because, come on, HEALING BY THE BOOK. GEDDIT?

Yeah, mood dropped to about a -1 on the bus trip home but I think it will repair.

I wish I could afford $320 pw. (I loved how I am
all NO LIVING WITH RAGE OR MEAT BAMBOO WOULD BE TOO EXPENSIVE but this is somehow acceptable idek.

Hee hee hee, I can has ResEvil: Degeneration. <3 Which means I can has Leon. Which means I can has squee.

Had lunch at Sushi Station with [info]kessira and went to Blockbuster, in case you couldn't tell. :3 Now I have something to distract myself with while I wait for Red Hat to call.

Also picked up Burn After Reading which will, I think, be awesome. It involves everyone I love and also Elbow. How could it fail to be?

[EDIT] This movie is HILARIOUSLY TERRIBLE. But I do appreciate Leon's monosyllabic approach to life. It's less time spent on truly terrible exposition.

Also fighting things made by the Umbrella Corp. with an umbrella? lolololol.

Uhh, so for EVERYONE I haven't told: that interview was for Red Hat, a company which puts together open-source projects with Linux. Hypothetically I would be employed to write manuals and whitepapers and troubleshooting for these projects.

SOMETIMES I JUST ASSUME THAT EVERYONE KNOWS WHAT I KNOW, OKAY.

[EDIT] I can has Xolotl on my mobile. :D This is important purely because whenever I see that first picture of him, whistling, I am retardedly overjoyed about it.
