I've been keeping half an eye out for the details of that cash bonus, and I've gotta say I like what I'm seeing. Mind you, another band for those whose taxable income was under $40k/year would have been nice, too, but whatever, I'll take my $950 and... put it away for the house fund. -_-; Since at the moment, I can only borrow about $135k, which does not a house make.

(Incidentally, kuchibue, if you worked full-time at a grocery store or something and I upped my hours we could borrow about $250k and... probably not starve. Probably. XD; I do not like this full-time work thing! Grrgh!)

( I saw 'Pride and Glory' today and several of the scenes in it made the Dee in the back of my head apoplectic. ) On the other hand, the film contained one Elizabeth Bennett, BBC Edition, a number of years on, dying of cancer, twig-thin and hideous with, you know, dying... and still, I would tap that ass without hesitation. The woman is beautiful, and yet I can never remember her name. This is embarrassing and ridiculous.

Also picked up the first book in the Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher, because I've heard good reports from several reliable sources now and I figure Tom might actually hurt me if I don't read it soon. I've given up on sodding Sanga SALVATORE, thankyou fingers, so Jacqueline Carey is next on the list and we'll see how she goes.
